Reality and Preservation of Innocent Perception

When I was younger the world seemed so much safer, so much simpler, there seemed to be so many opportunities. Now that I'm older I see that the world isn't so safe or simple. Opportunities still abound as well as numerous responsibilities. One of my many responsibilities, is ensuring that children continue to experience the safety and joy that I experienced as a child!

Your Immaturity and lack of Initiative will Harm your children. Stop Being selfish

While this song is on a mother addicted to drugs the message is equally powerful in showing the importance of a parent's duty to their child. Not only that but NF perfectly describes the feelings a child may have towards their parents. There are many things that take parents from their duty to their children, money, lust, greed, selfishness, drugs, and lack of solid morals. A parent's incompetence in the face of responsibility should NOT be the root cause. I hope this song helps some and wakes others up.
